MBAH, ACS, and SABA luncheon with Khizr Khan

The Muslim Bar Association of Houston (MBAH) along with the American Constitution Society - Houston Lawyer Chapter (ACS) and the South Asian Bar Association - Houston (SABA) welcome Mr. Khizr Khan back to Houston. We are honored that he will be joining us for lunch and will share a few stories from his life.
This is a non-partisan event and the event is open only to lawyers and law students.

Mr. Khizr Khan and his wife Mrs. Ghalaza Khan are the Gold Star parents
of fallen US Army Capt. Humayun Khan who died in Iraq in 2004 while protecting his unit from suicide bombers.

Mr. Khizr Khan, an attorney, drew national attention for his remarks at the Democratic National Convention. Mr. Khizr Khan will discuss his life and the role he believes lawyers play in upholding the values embodied in the Constitution.

The event begins at 12:30pm and concludes at 2pm.

made possible with the generous underwriting of Nirvana Indian Restaurant and the coordination and support of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH).

Note: This is an special event designed for lawyers and law students. If you are a member of the general public interested in the general theme of Mr. Khizr Khan's talk, you are welcome to register and attend a similar event on October 1, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Hilton Post Oak at hosted by ISGH.
